Blossoming Tree

In our community, this particular tree is relatively popular. I used to know its name, but cannot remember. In the fall, it fills out with colorful blossoms but I think it is a messy tree.  It's popular because it's pretty.

It is so nice to see a tree with blossoms - it is grey and cold here!

I can't say I know the name of the tree, but I appreciate seeing something so green and lush this time of year.

SWMBO would hate that green tree in the lower left, Jacob. She does not like architectural landscaping. I kinda like it.

Crepe myrtle? It certainly is pretty and seems to be doing well here. I wouldn't expect to see blooms this time of year but they're more than welcome!

Looks like a Crape Myrtle...
I am soooo tired of our cold, wet dark and soon to be snowy weather... hmmm I think I am long over due for a Florida journey! Or maybe I just need to go peel an orange and enjoy a bit of liquid sunshine! HoHoHo!
Merry Christmas

In North Carolina, we have the messy magnolias. Beautiful, fragrant, but messy!

Florida is a beautiful state when things are blossoming!

Gosh, in some ways I envy you and everyone else who have so many SUNNY days.

That's the way it usually goes... but as my grandmother used to say "Pretty is as pretty does" ... yeah, I never understood it either!
